The AONL Foundation honors individuals for two awards each year:

Nurse Researcher of the Year
- Honors individuals who exemplify excellence in original, methodologically rigorous, and impactful research. We seek nominees who set the bar for research excellence.
Friend of the Year
- Recognizes one individual and one organization who have had a profound impact on helping the Foundation to advance its mission.
